We all need motivation to do the things that we do.
I am not any different.
I do not think I would have started blogging or using pinterest as a source of blog traffic were it not for the fact that I saw other people who had used it, ditched their jobs and went fully into freelance work.
Yeap, I am talking about the likes of Carly Campbell, Patt Flynn, Matt Diggity and Jon Dykstra who have shared their blogging journeys and successes all over the internet.
Of course their sharing their stories of how they left their jobs have really inspired me.
And wanted to be like them.
Not that I want to quitmy job.
No, I like it.
But making insane amounts of money through blogging, much more than my day job will be such a welcome, right?
Well, in this blog post, I will do a roundup of bloggers who have made it big earning from blogging through pinterest traffic and sharing their success stories on the same platform.
I always look forward to such blog income reports. They motivate me.
They keep me going even when my pins seem not to be getting any traffic.
Every month, I am eagerly waiting for Sayan Neogie to post an income report on his Twitter profile or as an email newsletter.
And I get really angry when he does not do it.
Sayan, why do you dilly dally with these reports?
Lets who are the people whose income reports motivated me to share mine too.
- Sayan Neogie
This has to be the most inspirational blogger in my opinion.
The guy has made over $335,000 in 5 short years. What I love about his income reports is that he is very honest and gives an over-the shoulder experience explaining everything that he does from creating posts, pinterest, affiliate marketing and being accountable.
He also has some great visuals for his pins. And this of course explains the high click through rates that he gets from pinterest.
I would have ignored him to be just another “How I made this-amount-of-dollars-in-x-month” blogger were it not for when he was open about his income going down in 2024 due to Pinterest and Google updates.
This made me relate with him and dig through his income reports to learn how he has made it so far.
- Carly Campbell
I think one lady who has been in the blogging and work-from-home niche for the longest time has to be Carly Campbell.
Other than her inspirational blog, she also runs this Facebook group called Blogging like you mean it where you meet other wannabe bloggers like you trying to eke a living from blogging.
What’s more? Carly has one of the most talked about Pinterest course called Pinteresting Strategies. Though I have never bought it, I believe it is worth its salt.
This is of course judging from the free stuff that she throws around online like ebooks, podcasts and Canva templates.
- Nat the myndset
Nat is probably the one blogger whom I have Dmed on Twitter and she was kind enough to answer.
So she advised me on my Pinterest strategies and Canva designs. Though I am yet to earn much from what she advised, it was an honour to have her answer my questions.
Nat also shares her blogging income on Twitter. But how I wish that she was doing this on a blog like the other folks.
Nat, would you mind?
- Jon Dykstra of Fat stacks
Jon Dykstra is another renowned blogger. Though he was previously making money through SEO, Jon has transitioned to Pinterest and he shares his income reports.
Jon has his hands full on so many blogs and sometimes, it is really hard to envision myself becoming someone like him.
- Tony hill
While we were all trying to make sense of Google updates, one guy single handedly changed the game for all of us. His name is Tony Hill.
He decided to try Pinterest and judging from his stories, I am sure he is making a kill from the platform.
Unfortunately, Tony Hill does not share any of his blogs and so it is really difficult to see the kind of pins he makes or anything.
- Anastacia blogger
Anastacia has to be one of the most ubiquituos blogging evangelist in the web world that I have ever seen,
You will find her on Youtube, blog, email and on her personal blog.
She shares great nuggets as well as gives an overview of how much she is making blogging.
- Making sense of cents
Michelle Schroedder Gardner of Making sense of cents is a blogger that I have virtually met as I looked at blog income reports on Pinterest. Judging from the praise that other bloggers like Carly Cbell have of her, she is definitely worth checking out.
She is an established blogger earning northwards of $100000 and so needs you to visit her content, right?
- Virginia Nakitari
I think my roundup would not be complete without mentioning a fellow Kenyan blogger by the name of Virginia Nakitari. She runs Earnsmartonlineclass.com.
At one time, she shared a blog income report where she talks of how she made more than $4000 in a single month.
She has since stopped sharing income reports because of personal reasons but everytime I feel like giving up, I glance at that income report and I get my mojo back.
